Skins season 6, episode 10: Everyone

Well that had much more closer than a normal Skins finale. I did like that actually! However, the season as a whole ruined Franky and while I did like her ending there was too much of her. She is still the poster child of wasted potential (her character was run through a wood chipper). Liv was good in the end, but I am confused about Alex. They really missed an opportunity to develop him further and develop his friendship with Liv further. Alo and Mini had a good end too with the baby being born. Rich had a good end except for the fact that he is crazy now. womp. Matty sucks always but him turning himself in was great, and Nick is just like the same I guess. 

All in all, I will miss this show and the season was not the best but I am content with that ending. 

Skins season 6, episode 8: Liv

They made me team Liv. Definitely. I felt like she was the only one who spoke the honest truth about anything. She was the sane one despite torturing herself. And ugh I feel so bad for her too! It is unfair what everyone has done to her! Even Alex (whom I thought I’d love forever) wanted to be a whore more than help her! I liked how she actually tried to HANDLE the death and let her emotions out but she needed someone with her to help her which she was not given. Her acting was super amazing throughout too. It was sweet but very sad. And poor Doug! Him being so touched by the tragedy! I LOVE DOUG! 

Also Franky is a total and unbearable bitch now. What even is her character anymore? And Matty…..ew.

P.S. The cinematography was beautiful in this episode. The music was awesome too. I think I really liked the episode. 

Skins season 6, episode 3: Alex

So the new guy……IS FASCINATING. His whole intriguing thing with living through chance and letting the dice decide his day was awesome. I can see perfectly where, too, he would have developed this quirk because he seems very lonely and close to someone nearing death. It was very relatable to see him battle loneliness but very interesting how he fought it. Alex also seems a bit mad. He is very nice and endearing but also a bit mad which is alright by me. I also had heard he was gay before watching it so the beginning with Liv threw me but then he had some butt sex and was gay again. Overall he is a very deep character and they built him amazingly. A plus to him is that he was JUST introduced and they have no time to ruin him. 

Another positive aspect of this episode was Liv. She isn’t balls to the wall annoying anymore. She was rough toward the end of season five. I even felt bad for her when Alex told her he was gay. And the scene destroying Grace’s memorial was brilliant. 

Skins season 6, episode 2: Rich

So I will keep this short because I actually do not have much to say. I can tell from this episode that the writers took the advice that they were receiving about how tame last season was and have planted seeds to up the crazy. Which is good. However, they also still want to seem fresh so they made the choice they made, and I actually approve. They dug themselves into a large hole over the last five years. They established a pattern for each generation and they couldn’t exactly break it but they want to still be unpredictable. While it was sad and tragic etc I still liked the decision.
