True Blood season 5, episode 5: Let’s Boot and Rally

I have no idea what is even going on. I just feel like I should talk about it. I think they read reviews of last season being too stagnant so they decided to throw in like ten million plot lines for this season. We have fairies, fire demons, shifter murderers, vampire cults, baby vampires, and Russel. And even with all these plot lines, it still feels slow. It felt like they were walking through that building to Russel for 30 god damn minutes. And Sookie and Alcide was so random. The only things I am tolerating at this point are the Jason storyline and the Jessica storyline.

Jessica is continually perfect and I liked her talk with Tara. Jason is figuring out some mystery involving the fairies and his family which has been necessary since season 3. These are good, but the rest is…..lacking, I guess. So out of frustration I decided to just write this time. I almost did not review the episode at all. What they need to do is slow down with all the plots but when I say slow down, I do not mean the pace. I mean they need to concentrate on one at a time and get a lot done with it.

True Blood season 4, episode 5: We’ll Meet Again

They just keep bloody building. At some point they have to just go crazy with a big development. I did like some of the moments though. Sookie drunk was great. Oh and club fairy was AWESOME. That whole part of great. I want more with that story and I think we will get it. I need more of the Lafayette thing too. That was crazy! Next week better show Russell as well….I need him.

OH and I love Jessica more every week. She is perfect.

True Blood season 5, episode 3: Whatever I am, You Made Me

Slower than I hoped it would be. I still fear it will pull a season 4 and have barely anything happen during most of the episodes. Still, it is very interesting. We know more about that movement of vampires and that should hopefully remain part of the story. We got to hear Tara talk some more and know she ain’t “fuck tarded” lol. Jason was simultaneously frustrating and adorable. The fairies made a brief appearance (I am excited for their return because of Sheriff Andy). And we are one baby step closer to Russell and the Marine storyline reveal. Actually now that I type that phrase, I realize it fits for most of the episode. Baby steps….yup that is how fast the story moved.

Also, Tara will unfortunately live or her vampira turning drama will have had no point. And Pam will save her DUH. Speaking of Pam I still love her backstory. It makes sense why she would ask to be a vampire.

True Blood season 5, episode 2: Authority Always Wins

I really enjoy the direction this show has taken. I love how Eric and Bill are part of a bigger story. How they keep alluding to some movement I am sure will make an appearance and be a bigger deal than Russel. I love Tara hating Sookie and Lafayette because their idea was dumb. I liked the flashbacks with Pam but they did feel out of place. I love Jessica’s character all the time always. I love the Revrand now too. These stories are just interesting and I hope the season gets really exciting. It has potential.

True Blood season 5, episode 1: Turn! Turn! Turn!

I am pretty happy with this premiere. A lot has changed about this show because of this episode. Eric and Bill going on a great adventure outside Bon Temps against the super important Authority. I like that they have committed to a bigger storyline and that it does not involve the town or Sookie. Eric saying “fuck Sookie” was perfect. And the Eric/Bill bromance is awesome.

I really enjoyed how Terry’s story was set up. His acting was great in how he wanted to flip out but was holding back with all his strength. I want to know what happened to him!

I like that Jason wants to fight for Jessica and I love those two but COME ON it makes sense that she would want to go crazy for a bit because of her nature. I would think Jason would understand.

Oh and I like the pack storyline for Alcide because it could be awesome or awkward. I hope Sam and his lady stay back from it though. Him sacrificing himself was dumb.

P.S. Fuck Terra they should have killed her.

Game of Thrones season 2, episode 10: Valar Morghulis

I must say I really liked this finale. In a season where there was simultaneously tons of plot points and the over whelming feeling of nothing happening, I feel like this finale was as best as it could be and more. It was basically here to make us say “Oh shit…..” because it followed the theme of the season and set up a bunch of stuff but in a spectacular way. Tyrion is going to have to overcome his new scar and take back power, Sansa should have left with the hound and is now going to have to pay the consequence, Arya is going to have to face the harsh reality of her family’s current predicament and maybe take face man up on his offer, Rob is going to pay for his impetuous decision, Jon is going to see the King north of the wall, The WhiteWalkers are going to be making some noise, and Dany is going to become more bad ass and more awesome. But all these plot points in the finale were blah blah is “going to” do something. Meaning while this season was necessary, next season is much more important. So the finale did a good job pointing this out while entertaining us with a lot of “Oh shit” moments.

Also, I read that some people thought Dany killed that magic creeper too easily and to that I say that the magic man had no idea the dragons had fire yet and Dany like said his name which might have like grounded him I don’t know. It made sense to me so BLAH.

Cougar Town season 3, episodes 14 and 15: My Life and Your World

Both episodes were ridiculously hilarious. I was laughing so much harder than usual. Maybe that was because it was my first CT viewing with wine but I re-watched and it was not! Everything was just perfect. The character developments, the ending, the quirky, the jokes, and the guest stars! Oh Bill and David…. Oh and Stan and Penny Can <3.

The only thing I did not like was the Ellie thing…..Poor Andy. That was just awkward to watch and uncomfortable.

Game of Thrones season 2, episode 9: Blackwater

Legit sauce amazing. The wildfire explosion? Awesome. Tyrion being Tyrion? Awesome though I do hope he is alright. Oh man this was a great episode. Though mama Lannister was being such a BITCH. God I hate her. She should have left Joffrey on the battle field to DIE. My problem with this fight was I wanted Tyrion to win but I wanted 2 Lannisters to die. Stannis was kind of awful so I am glad he is a loser. Red lady won’t be pleased though. Watch out for the vag monster!

Well, while still confused about why papa Lanny was at the fight and not going after Rob I liked how it all ended. The moments at the end were amazing.

Modern Family season 3, episode 24: Baby on Board

This was a fantastic episode. I did think that if in reality a baby popped out of nowhere I would have lost it because no time to get ready, but I did find it very sad it did not work out. I liked the soap opera bit but still very sad. The moment on the ground between them at the end was amazing. And Lily’s reaction was really good too. I loved that she was with Jay in that moment because it felt like a very good Grandpa moment. Also, one person ended the season with a particularly amazing few lines and that is Luke. He has been spot on all season. He is just the funniest little man, he floored me with the sex line.

I cannot wait for next season. I think for once they set up something you want to come back to see played out.

Game of Thrones season 2, episode 8: The Prince of Winterfell

It was obvious those little munchkins weren’t dead but fuck Theon for being such a retarded dickhead. I hate him. I want Rob to murder him soooooon. Speaking of things I want to happen, this episode and the last one were extremely SLOW. I am getting frustrated because there are two episodes left and it feels like a lot needs to happen. If a lot doesn’t happen then we have to wait a year for shit to happen so PICK UP THE PACE GoT!!! Here is a list of major events that need to happen: Jon and something huge beyond the wall, Tyrion doing something epic and awesome with the throne and Joffrey, Rob attacking someone, and Dany getting her dragons back and making a fucking decision already! I suppose I could read the book and know something will happen but I have other books on my reading list at the moment. Anyway, I do like where this show is going though. I like how heated the emotions are getting, and I love Arya doing shit. Arya is smart and she is the bestest. OH and Rob and his lady…. yummy.

Also one thing I do not understand is why mamma Stark set Jamie free….
