Once Upon A Time season 1, episode 19: The Return

Called it. Because of my friends I knew they might try to make August look like Bae but no that is far too easy. And everything felt far too easy. On TV when something is easy you know to NOT believe it. That is my advice to you. My questions are why is August sick? How is he going to convince Emma? Regina seems to be losing her edge and I like that but how will it play out? And is Bae going to be Henry’s father? I know the writers said that Henry’s father would come back in some important way….. Just a theory. As for who August is, I still think he is a Grimm brother. Good episode overall. I love Rumple backstory episodes! They are so fascinating and the way they did this one was amazing!

Once Upon A Time season 1, episode 17: Hat Trick

Very good episode! Despite the major budget stretching. I liked the back story a lot because it was focusing on a side character of Alice in Wonderland and touched on the multiple worlds mythology which was necessary and neat. The one awkward part was when Emma was starting to “believe” because at first I could not tell it was fake and I was confused but then it would have been just too ridiculous for her to believe without something major happening first. However, seeing her start to see more clearly is good. Also, Henry was adorable being all happy about her wanting the book! I love Henry. They should never have three episodes without him again! Oh and who else was happy that there was no David? 

Psych season 6, episode 10: Neil Simon’s Lover’s Retreat

What a great fall finale. Very funny, adorable, and different. I like when the episodes are different. The addition of the murder felt random because all they really needed were the thieves but then they made it work with the car chase and leaving Shules in a hot air balloon to mack. Shules was ADORABLE. I love that the writers NEVER put unnecessary strain in their perfect chemistry. I think they just work. Also, the Gus Lassy and Henry trio was FANTASTIC. Loved all the interactions in this episode. AND OMG BUSTER FROM ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. I died. Also, I did not see the ring thing coming at all. 

Once Upon a Time season 1, episode 5: That Still Small Voice

This show is amazing. It isn’t perfect but it is amazing. The acting and the story just keep getting better and better! I loved Jiminy’s back story SO much! It was so well done! It got a little cheesy at the end but I thought they did the best they could to make it less cheesy. I think Archie is a great character, I really like him. Also, the effects may be wonky at times but this show is getting more popular so they will have more money soon! Lol. 

Also, Henry is doing a really good job trying to keep his cool around people who don’t believe him. He wants to say “Because I know I am right!” but he knows he needs the proof so he is careful with what he says. It is working rather well. The one thing about this episode I did not like was how pointless the mine stuff seemed. I needed something a little bigger to happen for the over arching plot. For Henry to have found something and shown it to someone and it to have resinated with them. Oh well. 

P.S. The Mary and Dave scenes were SO well done. It makes sense that the curse would not have fully worked on James because he was unconscious and dying. The curse saved him and now he has no fake memories so he can only remember the real stuff. He is the Desmond of OUAT

Once Upon A Time season one, episode 3: Snow Falls

I am gone man. I am in love with this show. It still has places to go yet is currently AMAZING! I am dying. Snow White is the PERFECT female character to me. She is everything I like about good female characters. For one, she is strong and bad ass. Two, she is snarky and witty. Three, she is emotional and idealistic. I love her! And it translates pretty well to Mary in the real world. Its pretty realistic how it translates. I also really like James, Prince Charming, because he is a very good opposite for Snow. I hate that Catherine bitch! She is totally under EQ’s control. I am calling it. Man this show is so good! 

One more thing, I love the relationships between Henry and Emma and Emma and Snow because they are being so subtly and so perfectly built every episode. I am so happy when the episodes end because everything is just… so good. And that look at the end that James gave Snow….HE IS GONNA REMEMBER!! The doctor said his memory was in flux….

P.S. Knowing the Lost writer, we are likely not gonna know how Snow pissed off the EQ until season two.
