Modern Family season 3, episode 22: Disneyland

Been a while since I reviewed this show but I just really liked last night’s episode. I liked the performances and character moments. Like Gloria did a really good job showing the difference between wearing the shoes and wearing the slippers. Jay did a good job playing the nostalgia while still remaining somewhat in the moment. Manny was I don’t even know but it was fun to watch. Mitch and Cam had a good storyline (because I have always wondered what parents with those are thinking) and the solution was priceless. Phil was just perfection as always. I loved that moment between him and Luke but I also loved that it was just the flu! Oh and Dylan being back is awesome. I missed him. And I missed the bromance between him and Phil. 

Modern Family season 3, episode 14: Me? Jealous? 

I really liked this episode! Very, very funny. And some great character moments. That whole Gloria and Cam scene in the kitchen was just fantastic. Their acting was amazing. I also love the gust star usually but I must admit I did not quite understand the weird-ass kissing thing. Some of those scenes were pretty awkward. Though, Phil is amazing so he definitely saved them. I am still very confused by his character and that scene in his house nonetheless. 

P.S. the little inside joke they created about Manny’s friend Danielle or whatever it was had me on the floor. “It might help with that train-wreck Danielle.” I died. 

Modern Family season 3, episode 12: Egg Drop

This was a pretty good episode I guess. I loved Gloria and Phil of course. I actually felt VERY bad for Phil. His parts were so hard to watch because the level of embarrassment was just……yikes. Also, that moment at the end when they hugged was a bit weird. Phil does put her on a pedestal and kept making her want to hug him like he was enjoying it too much. Hm…. Haha!

As for the other story-line I enjoyed Luke and Manny, did not care for Clair and Jay. I also really liked Alex because if I had made something superior I would want recognition and admiration as well.  

Modern Family season 3, episode 10: Express Christmas

Only Modern Family could have made this funny. It was a good idea for an episode don’t get me wrong but no other show had the right formula to make this episode hilarious. It was the perfect time for it too because the family had yet to spend an entire episode together or paired off differently as in this one. I liked seeing Cam and Jay, Phil and Manny (I really liked those two together), Gloria and Luke (they need to have more moments too), and finally Mitch and Alex (just brilliant). It was truly amazing that Modern Family waited three seasons to show these pairs work, and now we have MORE to ask from them which was smart on their part.
